Bagyong Ambo - PAGASA Update - May 16, 2020

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced on their weather bulletin that the Bagyong Ambo was estimated based on all available data including those from Mt. Sto. Tomas (Benguet) Doppler Radar over the coastal waters of Santa Cruz, Ilocos Sur (17.0°N, 120.3°E).

Direction

Tropical storm Ambo was determined to be moving North Northwestward at 20 kilometers per hour.



Speed

Bagyong Ambo is currently seen moving North Northwestward at 20 kilometers per hour.



Strength

The tropical depression has a maximum sustained winds of up to 75 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 125 kilometers per hour.

•72 Hour (Tuesday morning): 1,465 km Northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon (OUTSIDE PAR) (30.0°N, 132.0°E)
